Find out what is automatically included in your HSE-handbook and what you can choose yourself.
Automatic content
When you create an HSE-handbook in the system, some things will automatically be included, while you have to choose some things yourself. The things that will automatically be included in all the HSE handbooks you create are visible in the first step when you create a manual, and are the following:
- Self-declaration on health, environment and safety
- Information about the safety representative
- Company information with organization chart
This content is automatically generated as a part of the handbook based on what you have entered into the system. If any of these things are not correct in the HSE handbook, you must change it in the system. Therefore, ensure that you have updated the objectives, organization chart and safety representative before completing the handbook.
If you want to leave the handbook while you are creating it, all information will automatically be saved and the handbook will be left as in progress so you can complete it later.
Content that you choose
The following things are chosen by you to include or not in the handbook:
- Objective
- HSE-annual wheel
- Riskanalyses
- Routines
- Text about training
- Text about revision
When you click on "New", in the first step you will choose what the handbook should be called, who it is for and what language it is in. Here you can choose to tick off both objective and HSE annual wheel, if these have been created in the system.
You then choose which risk analyzes and routines you want to include in the handbook. All risk analyzes that have been completed for the department for which the manual is being created are shown here. The routines shown are those for the department for which the manual is created. You can choose which of these you want to include in the book, and by dragging them up and down you can also choose their order.
After that, you describe how training takes place in your company. Here, Grønn Jobb has made a suggestion for you that can be used as a starting point. This suggestion appears based on which language you selected in the first step. Finally, you describe how auditing of the HSE work is carried out in your company. Here too, Grønn Jobb has made a proposal that can be used as a starting point.
When you click "Complete", the handbook is created with the automatic information that is retrieved from the system and the information that you chose to include yourself.
In role settings, you can choose who should be able to create handbooks and who should only be able to see them. Those who cannot create manuals will only see the last created handbook for their department and the last created handbook for the entire company.
