How does the menuitems for equipment work?

Her you will learn about how registering, assigning and returning equipment works.

Register equipment

Under "Equipment register" in the menu on the left, you will find the register of all the equipment that the company has. To create an equipment, click on "New". Only admin users and those roles that have the equipment setting turned on can create new equipment.

The dates you select for validity determine between which dates this equipment can be assigned to employees. You do not have to fill in the end date if you do not want to. This means that the equipment will be possible to assign until you decide to fill out a date later. The equipment will no longer be possible to assign to employees, once the date has passed. Employees who have already been assigned the equipment will not be affected, and you will still be able to return the equipment from employees.

You must decide which department the equipment belongs to. Only employees of that department can be assigned the equipment. By choosing "The whole company" you will be able to assign this to all employees, no matter of their department.

 

When the equipment appears in the list, you can easily see in the status column which equipment is active and can be assigned right now. By clicking on a specific equipment, you also get an overview of which employees in the company have this piece of equipment right now. Here you can also choose to assign the equipment to one or more employees, or return it.

By clicking "Edit", you can change the information about the equipment. Remember that this information will change for everyone who has already gotten the equipment assigned.

Assign and return equipment

Assigning and returning can take place under the overview of the company's equipment, but Admin users, CEOs and Team managers also have access to the "Our equipment" page. Here you get a full overview of all equipment that is, and has previously been, assigned to the employees. Admin users and the CEO can see all employees, and the Team manager sees the employees in their department. Here, new equipment can be assigned by clicking on "Assign" at the top right. Equipment can be returned by clicking on the return icon on the right of the list.

Overview of your own equipment

By clicking "My equipment" all employees within the company can see an overview of the equipment they have been assigned, and the equipment they have had earlier.
