Read about how the system automatically deducts 30 minutes for unpaid lunch.
Under company settings, the administrator can choose what the weekly working hours for the company should be. There are two options here:
- 37,5 hours
- 40 hours
The default setting is 37,5 hours, which means that the lunch break is unpaid and should not be counted in the working hours. For the employee who registers their working hours, this means that 30 minutes are deducted from the working hours, if they choose to register the time between two timestamps. The half hour is only deducted if there are more than 5 hours between the timestamps.
NB: 30 minutes are only deducted when the employee chooses to register working hours between two timestamps. If the employee chooses to register the number of hours, nothing is deducted.
If you do not want 30 minutes to be deducted for unpaid lunch, the administrator must select 40 hours as the weekly working hours in the company settings.
