What does AMU mean?

Here you can read about what a working environment committee is and how you can use the menu option called AMU.

All comapnies with at least 30 employees are obliged to set up a working environment committee (AMU). If one of the parties requires it, companies with between 10 and 30 employees must also have an AMU. The Norwegian Labor Inspection Authority can also decide that there must be an AMU in a company. The committee must have a minimum of 4 members and must work for a fully responsible working environment in the business. For more information about rules regarding working environment committees, you can read here:

AMU in the HSE-system

AMU is available to everyone who has Grønn Jobb HSE system, but just as with the Substance index, the administrator can choose under Settings whether the company wants to use AMU or not in the system. If the setting is switched on, a menu option called AMU will appear in the menu on the left. Below you can select AMU members and AMU meetings. By clicking on AMU members, you get an overview of everyone who is a member of the working environment committee. If you have an admin user or are a member yourself, you can add and remove members here.

When the working environment committee in the company is to hold a meeting, you can use the menu option AMU meetings. Here, all meetings they have conducted will be visible in the list. To start a new meeting, click on "New".

Fill in general information and who is participating in the meeting before proceeding to the various meeting points. By choosing a template in the first step, you get pre-filled points that AMU should go through. If you do not want to use a template, you must fill in all points yourself. You can add comments on each point, or if general notes are to be made, this can be done in the next step. When you have finished the meeting you can finalize it, then everything you have gone through will be saved in a PDF.

The meetings and documents are only visible to the members of AMU.
