How does the exam work?

Here you can read about how to take the exam for a course, and what happens if you fail.

In order to take the exam for a course, you must first complete the course itself. You do this by watching all episodes and answering quiz questions, if any, that belong to the episode. When an episode is finished it will have a blue check next to it.

Remember to let the video play until the end, and the status will be updated automatically. If you pause it before the end, the status of the episode will not be updated to finished.

When all episodes are finished you will be able to take the exam. To get to the exam, you must be at the last episode of the course. The button called "To the exam" will then be visible. If the button is grayed out, it means that at least one of the episodes is not finished.

When you start an exam, a new tab opens in your browser with instructions. You can change the language by clicking on the language at the top of the page, but many exams do not have translations in all languages. If you have a language setting in which the exam does not exist, a red error message will appear.

Your time starts as soon as you click "Start". When you have answered all questions and click on "Finish", your result is calculated. The proportion of correct answers is calculated per question. For example, if a question has several correct options, but you only choose one of them, the whole question will be counted as incorrect.

If you do not pass the exam, you can take it again. If you want to do it directly, you can click on "Retake". If you wish to do it on another occasion, you can quit and go back to the exam later via the course.

Each course has a maximum number of attempts that you can use for the exam. If you have used all attempts without passing the exam, it means that you must watch the course again to be able to take the exam. If that happens, you will be sent back to the course when you click on "Retake". The status of the episodes will then be reset and you will have to watch the course again. When that is done, you get new attempts at the exam again.
