How does the exam work?

Here you can read about how to take the exam for a course, and what happens if you fail.

In order to take the exam for a course, you must first complete the course itself. You do this by watching all episodes and answering quiz questions, if any, that belong to the episode. When an episode is finished it will have a blue check next to it.

Remember to let the video play until the end, and the status will be updated automatically. If you pause it before the end, the status of the episode will not be updated to finished.

When all episodes are finished you will be able to take the exam. To get to the exam, you must be at the last episode of the course. The button called "To the exam" will then be visible. If the button is grayed out, it means that at least one of the episodes is not finished.

When you start an exam, an instructions page opens. Here you can see how many correct answers are required to pass, how many attempts you have before you have to retake the course, and how much time you can spend on each attempt.

Your time starts as soon as you click "Start". Once you have answered all the questions and click "Finish", your score will be calculated. Some questions may have multiple correct answer options, and each correct option will give you points. Some exams may also give you points if you answer an option that is not correct.

If you do not pass the exam, you can take it again. If you want to do it directly, you can click on "Retake". If you wish to do it on another occasion, you can quit and go back to the exam later via the course.

Each course has a maximum number of attempts that you can use for the exam. If you have used all attempts without passing the exam, it means that you must watch the course again to be able to take the exam. If that happens, you will be sent back to the course when you click on "Retake". The status of the episodes will then be reset and you will have to watch the course again. When that is done, you get new attempts at the exam again.
