Why do I have to authenticate when I start a course?

Some courses have stricter requirements than others when it comes to how to carry it out. An example is the Course in Hot Work where the Norwegian Fire Protection Association sets requirements for the course to be approved. One of these requirements is that the user who is going to take the course must authenticate themselves using 2FA when they start the course. If you want to take this course in the course portal, you must therefore authenticate yourself when you are going to take the course. This applies even if you authenticated yourself when you logged in.

A prerequisite for you to be able to authenticate yourself is that the administrator in the company has activated the setting for 2FA. If this setting is not active, the course will not be available to you.
