Who is handling my absence requests?

Learn about how the proceedings are set up for absence requests.

Under company settings, the administrator can choose between two options for how the proceedings will work in your company. The first option, which is also the default setting when the system is put into use, means that all absence requests go to both Admin users and team managers.

 

The person who has the role of team manager in a department will receive all requests from employees in that department. Admin users will receive all requests from all employees regardless of department. A request can therefore be approved by several people.

When the employee gets the notification regarding their request being approved or denied, they will also see the name of the person who handled the request.

The second option that can be chosen by the administrator, means that all requests go to one single user, instead of to the team managers. Admin-users will still get all the requests, so they also can handle them. If this is the option that shall be used in your company, the setting will have to change by the administrator.
