How do notifications work?

Read about how notifications work, why you get emails from the system and how you can change your settings.

Notifications are sent on many different places in the system. If you have the HR system, notifications are sent, for example, for vacation and absence requests and for courses or equipment that are about to expire. If you have the HSE system, notifications are sent, for example, when new deviations are registered and when someone leaves a comment on a deviation you have registered. In the course portal, notifications can be sent to remind someone to take a course. Notifications are also sent when you are assigned tasks from the various modules and when an employee celebrates their birthday.

These notifications appear under the icon for notifications that you can find at the top right corner of both the web and the mobile app.

         

You cannot choose to turn off the notifications sent in the system, but for the mobile app, you can choose whether or not to receive push notifications under your phone's general notification settings.

The only exception is birthday notifications, which the admin can choose to turn off for the company. This is done under the company settings and applies to the entire company. If turned off, no one in the company will receive birthday notifications.

Email notifications

You can choose whether or not you want to receive all notifications by email in addition to inside the system. When you start using the system, this setting is automatically turned on. To turn it off, tap the Profile icon in the top right corner and select Notification. Here you can choose whether you want to receive all notifications by email in addition to in the system, or not. If you choose to turn it off, you will still receive all notifications in the system and in the app, but no emails will be sent.
